In early September, Nordic Visions Art celebrated a major milestone: our very first self-produced exhibition and our debut as a curator, at Preg in Harstad. It was an unforgettable launch, and the energy as well as the response were overwhelmingly positive.

The exhibition featured a Nordic lineup of six talented artists:
Maja Olsen Berglund
Bjørge Rødfjell
Steffen Normark
Klas Wiréhn
Emma Dahlgren
Hilde Bugge
As the doors opened, visitors poured in for the opening night — which was more than just an exhibition launch. We celebrated with a DJ, opening speeches, all captured by Paparazzi Foto. Two of the artists themselves, Steffen Normark and Klas Wiréhn, were present and mingled with guests, giving the evening a personal, warm, and memorable touch.
The exhibition stayed up for about four weeks, giving the Harstad community plenty of time to explore the diversity in styles, techniques, and stories. As curators, we carefully selected each artist and artwork in order to build a coherent vision — and it was truly inspiring to see how well the different voices complemented each other.
For me, Ingjerd Iren Leiros — founder of NVA — this exhibition was deeply personal. Growing up in Narvik in a home filled with creativity, I have long held the dream of bridging Nordic art with broader audiences. Establishing Nordic Visions Art in Norway gives me the flexibility to collaborate with galleries locally and internationally. Opening NVA´s first curated show in Harstad, therefore felt like a natural step.
We’re grateful for the warm welcome we received from the Harstad audience. The evening was amazing and we felt that people truly appreciated not only the artworks, but the event as a whole.
This launch exhibition marks a significant moment for NVA. It’s the beginning of our journey displaying
Nordic talent in new and meaningful ways — and we can’t wait to bring more thoughtful, carefully curated art experiences to communities across Norway and internationally.
Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who joined us, everyone who visited, and a special thank-you to our artists: Maja, Bjørge, Steffen, Klas, Emma, and Hilde. Together, we made something special.

To creativity, inspiration, and global connections,
Ingjerd Iren Leiros
