We are happy to announce that NVA has entered into a collaboration with Norwegian artist Geir Felling, whose extensive artistic background and international experience make him a valuable addition to our network.

Artistic Education and Background
Born in Oslo in 1963, Geir Felling has been drawing and painting throughout his life. His artistic journey has taken him through some of the world’s most respected creative environments. He studied at the Hull School of Architecture in the United Kingdom (1988–1989), continued his education at Strykejernet School of Art in Oslo and later completed studies in Graphic Design. In 2003, he further developed his artistic practice at the Art Students League of New York, followed by a residency under the mentorship of artist Morten Thoresen in Fredrikstad between 2006 and 2009.
Exhibitions in Norway and Internationally
Over the years, Felling has participated in numerous exhibitions in both Norway and abroad. His solo exhibitions have included Takterrassen Mohn-gården at Filipstad, Dalype Galleri, Galleri Speilbildet and Sjøholmen Kulturhus, in addition to several exhibitions in Italy. His active exhibition schedule continues in 2025 with appearances at Kunst- og Kulturveka i Valdres, Black Box Galleri in Beitostølen and an exhibition with PitturiAmo in Venice.
Felling is represented through several established galleries and art organizations, including Samtid, KP Kunstbyrå and internationally through Grilloone and PitturiAmo in Italy. His work has gained recognition for its distinctive visual language and its ability to convey atmosphere, emotion and narrative through painting.
Beyond the Canvas
In addition to his artistic career, Geir Felling has a diverse professional background as a psychotherapist, former magazine publisher, publishing house owner and historical documentarian. He is also the author of several books, including From Roman to Knight (2010), Gothic Menorah (2020), A Treasure Hunt… (2025) and the forthcoming The Menorah’s Curse (2026).
A New Collaboration with NVA
For NVA, this collaboration represents an important commitment to artistic diversity and the promotion of compelling contemporary art. We are excited to present Geir Felling’s work to our clients, collectors, and partners and we look forward to following the next chapter of his artistic journey.
To creativity, inspiration, and global connections,
Ingjerd Iren Leiros
