#25 – Nordic Visions Art at Affordable Art Fair Stockholm!

This autumn, Nordic Visions Art made an inspiring trip to Affordable Art Fair Stockholm, one of Europe’s most dynamic art events for contemporary art. Held at Nacka Strandsmässan with more than 75 hand-picked galleries from around the world, the fair celebrated art that is accessible, exciting and full of fresh ideas - a perfect place for discovery and dialogue.

A global art gathering

At the fair we saw thousands of compelling artworks in a wide range of styles and media, from painting and photography to prints and mixed-media pieces. Affordable Art Fair is known for featuring both established talents and emerging voices, creating a atmosphere where new connections and collaborations can flourish.

It was inspiring to meet passionate artists, visionary gallery representatives and creative professionals from across Europe and beyond. These meetings reaffirmed how important it is for us at Nordic Visions Art to stay close to the art world’s evolving trends, to build relationships and to seek out new talent we believe in - artists we can support on their journey as their careers grow.

Artists we noticed

We were truly proud to see our own artist, Klas Wiréhn, represented at the fair. His work attracted a great deal of attention and brought a refreshing sense of humor and playfulness to the exhibition. Klas W.’s distinctive motifs stood out as a fresh breath among the many strong presentations and it was inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and genuine interest his art received from a global audience. Seeing his artistic voice resonate so clearly on an international stage is something we value greatly.

It was also a pleasure to meet Lavrans Borgen, a talented Norwegian artist who is now focusing on the international art market. Connecting with ambitious artists like Lavrans is always inspiring and reinforces the importance of supporting Nordic artists as they grow and reach new audiences worldwide.

It was truly a pleasure to experience Stockholm as a cultural city - vibrant, inspiring, and deeply connected to art and design. Affordable Art Fair Stockholm was professionally organized and delivered a high level of quality, from the gallery selection to the overall visitor experience.

It was a fantastic trip full of inspiration and meaningful conversations. We left Stockholm renewed in our eagerness to continue our mission of connecting Nordic artists with the world.
