#23 - POP-up Exhibition with Maja O. Berglund

A Wonderful Weekend with Artist Maja O. Berglund in Narvik!

In late September, Nordic Visions Art hosted a POP-up exhibition in Narvik featuring the talented artist Maja Olsen Berglund — and it became a truly memorable event.

This marked Maja’s very first exhibition in Northern Norway, something we at NVA were incredibly proud to present. Originally from Finnsnes and now working full-time as an artist in Oslo, Maja brought a fresh and vibrant energy to Narvik’s art scene. Her presence alone created excitement, and throughout the exhibition it was clear that her work added something new and inspiring to the local cultural landscape.

The POP-up was well attended from start to finish. Visitors from Narvik and the surrounding area showed genuine enthusiasm and curiosity, and many expressed how refreshing Maja’s artistic style felt — bold, warm, expressive, and unlike anything they had seen in the city before. Her work clearly created a sense of engagement with the audience.

Maja’s paintings are known for their warm color palettes, cubist influences, and dynamic, expressive lines. Her pieces invite viewers into a world of movement, emotion, and rhythm — and watching Narvik locals take their time with each artwork, share interpretations, and return for another look was truly rewarding.

For Nordic Visions Art, it was an honor to host Maja’s debut exhibition in the North. We are proud to have introduced her artistic voice to a new audience and grateful for the positive energy and engagement the event generated.
